The website stores a corresponding file to the one they set in your browser and in this file they can track and keep information on your movements within the site and any information you may have voluntarily given while visiting the website, such as email addresses.
Technical Cookies:
These cookies are necessary for the website to function and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are usually only set in response to actions made by you which amount to a request for services, such as setting your privacy preferences, logging in or filling in forms. You can set your browser to block or alert you about these cookies, but some parts of the site will not then work. These cookies do not store any personally identifiable information.
Security Cookies:
We may use security cookies to authenticate users, prevent fraudulent use of login credentials, and protect user data from unauthorized parties.
Third-party Cookies:
● Analytics:
This kind of cookies provides us information of the performance of our platform. They produce interesting statistical data on the usage of the service in order to monitor and improve its attractiveness, content, and performance.
Google Analytics: Google Analytics is a web analysis service provided by Google LLC (“Google”). Google utilizes the Data collected to track and examine the use of this Application, to prepare reports on its activities and share them with other Google services.
Google complies with the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the US Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use and retention of personal information from European Union member countries and subject to enforcement by the Federal Trade Commission. Google, including Google Inc. and its wholly-owned US subsidiaries, has certified that it adheres to the relevant Privacy Shield Principles, including Google Analytics.
● Advertising cookies:
Cookies allow us to present more relevant advertising, better tailored to your profile and your needs.Generally, the third-party cookies that we may use are restrictively chosen.
Among all services, EQUISAFE has chosen to implement Google Analytics because it is a powerful tool used to help us improve our services. It is also certified under Privacy Shield, which is a key point for GDPR compliance. In accordance with the CNIL’s recommendation, we configured Google Analytics in order to comply with GDPR.
The following actions have been taken:
– We have implemented a Consent Management Platform (CMP or “cookie banner”) which expressly requests your consent in advance. If you choose to refuse the usage of Google analytics, it will not track your IP address.
– Opt-in consent is the feature we’ve chosen as a default functionality on the CMP.
– We turned on the IP Anonymization feature in Google Analytics. The impact of this GDPR change on your data is that geographic reporting accuracy is slightly reduced.
– We limited data retention resulting from Google Analytics’ usage to 13 months.
